Touch-a-Truck Event for Families to Raise Money for Veterans

WHAT: The Trucking Association of New York and Bestpass will host a Touch-a-Truck Event for families to benefit Veterans Miracle Center on Saturday, May 19, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Wilton Mall in Saratoga Springs. Last year more than 2,000 people attended the event, raising more than $6,000.

The Touch-a-Truck Event family fundraiser will give children, their parents and other attendees up-close access to a variety of trucks and emergency vehicles while also raising funds to provide critical and timely financial assistance and services to veterans, service members and their families.

The Touch-a-Truck Event is free and open the public, with attractions including:

• A variety of commercial tractor trailers and their drivers
• Emergency vehicles, including police cruisers and ambulances
• Construction vehicles
• Door prize from local organization
