The 8th Annual Battenkill Runs Through It River Festival returns on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from Noon – 5pm at the Greenwich Town Beach, just north of the village on State Route 29. The community supported, family friendly environmental festival kicks off the summer season on the banks of the Battenkill and celebrates one of the largest public parks along the river’s banks.

This year the Festival is FREE and offers all the wonderful activities, music and fun to any and all who come. Fabulous food offerings from Scouts Troop 62 and local venues will be available for purchase.

Headlining the music this year is the popular regional band, HEARD, featuring their unique, internationally flavored jazz & percussion sound. Following the traditional flag raising ceremony and singing of America the Beautiful by local scouts, duo George Wilson & Alan Epstein on fiddle and mandolin will open the musical entertainment. Dave Michaels, morning DJ for EXIT 97.7, returns as the event’s EMCEE, demonstrating WMHT’s commitment to community, culture, and connections.
